New House

Hi Everyone. We just spent another weekend unpacking all our stuff... so I thought I would show you what our new apartment looks like -- and how much progress we made this weekend. (I should have taken before and after pictures... it really is amazing. Andrea came down and helped us put up shelves, lift boxes, and unpack. This is the floorplan of our place. The baby room is the one next to the Porch, and the guest bedroom is the other room across from the guest bathroom.


The books are in the guest bedroom. No bed yet, but we will have one soon so you can have your own room when you stay with us. The master bedroom is next, and the living room is last. You will note that we don't have a couch yet, but we DO have a luv sac. Thanks Dave Springer!

This is the kitchen.

We bought shelves to put into the storage area, and all my dishes are out in front. The holiday decorations are in back. I think it is amazing that we made it all fit. Jake is sitting at our kitchen table, and in back of him is a computer area. We (obviously) haven't finished organizing and decorating yet, so you can still see some clutter behind him.

Master closet. Master bath. Laundry room. Now we can get to all of our wedding stuff. You will be happy to note that we have a Coco late machine -- and if you come to visit during the cold months, we can make you the perfect cup of hot chocolate, steamed milk, or spiced apple cider. What did we ever do without this machine?

On another note, the baby is kicking and moving. Jake has given her a great name... but you will all have to ask him what it is, and why he named her that. (Although, I completely agree that it is very appropriate).
